The 2019 SunRype Okanagan Marathon Family Festival Weekend kicks off October 18th to 20th and we hope you’ll join us for the 25th annual year as one of BC’s best road races. The energy and excitement is building as we get ready to welcome runners and walkers from all over Canada, the US and beyond!

Everyone will enjoy scenic views along Lake Okanagan and the surrounding valley and a flat, fast course certified as a Boston Marathon qualifying race. A festive atmosphere the whole family can enjoy. The SunRype Okanagan Marathon Family Festival Weekend includes a Full Marathon Run/Walk, Half Marathon Run/Walk, 10K, 5K Run/Walk and an ABC Kids Activity Center and Fun Run.  


All races start and finish in City Park - 1600 Abbott Street, Kelowna

Package Pick Up and Gear Check take place inside the main tent in City Park. Schedule of dates and times below.


There will be limited parking within City Park on Friday, October 18th for package pick up. There will be no parking within City Park on both Saturday and Sunday of race weekend. Click on this link for alternate parking recommendations from Downtown Kelowna.

Gear Check

Gear Check will open on Sunday at 6:30 am inside the main tent. Remove the tag from your bib and pin it on to your bag. Items left after 2:00 pm will be donated to charity. Organziers assume no risk for items left at Gear Check.
